Football Club - Liverpool

this was my first take on a football club badge design :D

im guessin ill be greeted with many emails to come askin if id be

able to do other clubs too... like Manchester United and such.

she'd requested to have it misspelled as Liverfool with the letter 'F'

striked off and "P" inserted to it. hmm... i do wonder how the

birthday guy reacted to this really. im guessin he'll either laugh about

it or might have gotten a lil sour. haha :) in any case, im sure theyll

all enjoy the cake!

here in Singapore, one can find Christmas inspired Cakes

lined up in the glass case fridges. ive decided to have a go at

baking Christmas Cupcakes instead!

Candylicious Christmas!

i gotta admit that every year i really do anticipate the arrival

of Christmas here in our sunny island of Singapore!

its amazing how every major shoppin mall here would go all

out, decoratin their entrances as well as their atriums with

gigantic trees covered in colourful and beautiful ornaments!

this year, i thought wat better way to celebrate than

to have your very own edible, Christmas tree!

whenever im out and about window shoppin durin this Christmas

season,

im always on a lookout for interestin tree designs.

im not sayin that

the traditional way of decoratin a tree is

a

bore, but sumtimes its no

harm tryin out newer concepts!

im a fan for themed Christmas

tree designs. a white tree is

my most fav!

its got this winter wonderland

feel to it.

thats why i made myself a white tree design for my cake!

theyve got this really really cute Christmas tree at Ehub Downtown

East atrium with miniature Care Bears as ornaments on its tree!

its quoted saying, "Have A Beary Christmas!" cute :)

Animate Boy

This particular Customized Cake Order was an interestin one.

i was asked if i could recreate a graphic design into

a cake for a 21st Birthday celebration. yes! we can. all yall

have to do is attach a pikture to us and watch it transform!

isnt he the cutest lil thing? im guessin its a he though... or at least i

do think its a he :) Fondant covered, Double Chocolate, Hazelnut

filling Cake! it was actually supposed to be a 2D flat out cake.

guess i made him come to life then! from 2D to 3D!

Bollywood, Indian Henna.

Birthday parties arent the only occasion where you can have

a theme goin on. ive been to themed Weddings, and i gotta say

its really nice with loads of interestin and unique design concepts.

Are you thinkin of havin a Bollywood theme Wedding?

heres the perfect Cake design to grace the occasion!

Adorned with lots of intricate floral and leaf designs, this cake is sure

to be the center of attention. i think it would be real nice as a tiered

cake too! A 3 tier, stacked wedding cake with a spray of hand crafted

roses spiralin from the top tier, making its way down.

Ring of Roses.

With so many wedding invites comin up on my calender this year end,

ive decided to design a simple yet elegant cake design! its great as

an Engagement Cake or a Wedding Cake!

These eighteen Roses were individually hand piped! gotta say though,

i did a whole lot more actually... but the perfectionist in me had to

make sure that only the best lookin roses are set onto the cake.

Once all the roses were set in place, i sprayed em silver with

Lustre Spray. im thinkin maybe the next time i should spray

em individually before placin em onto the cake. and to

complete the look, i tied it up with a 2 inch Silver Ribbon

and piped some dots to the side of the cake!

Mini Drums Set!

This Customized Designer Cake order was a request from

a gurlfren for her boyfrens 21st Birthday celebration recently :)

I was told that he was a die-hard drummer! im sure his band

members would be pleasantly surprised too with this one

of a kind cake!

Its our all time favourite Double Chocolate Cake, but this

time layered with Cream Cheese Filling! Surprisinly, it was

a great combo! I helped myself with a slice of the cake too...

and after just one bite, it really was an Ouh Emm Gee moment.

I really like the marble effect look, so i mixed up a batch of

Fondant in three colours - Orange, Yellow and Red. it gives a

nice warm feelin to it huh :) looks alot like when the sun is

settin in the sky dosent it?

Marine Life - Hammerhead Sharks

Ive always wanted a go at designin an Ocean theme Cake.

This time round, i had a client wanting just that! She specifically

requested for Hammerhead Sharks as the theme for this

Ocean inspired Cake for her team coach.

It was my first go at creatin a marbled effect look with

Fondant too! i mixed up three colours of Fondant -

Sky blue, Turquoise Blue and White.

i just mixed and mashed the colours up before rollin it flat onto my

Fondant mat. dun over mix em though, else they're just gonna

end up mergin into one colour :) im really likin this effect

and im gonna be doin it more often for other designs.

The Hammerhead Sharks were individually hand crafted

using Gum Paste. i had initially thought of mouldin other species

of Marine fishes into the Cake design, but i guessed havin a school

of Hammerhead Sharks would look great by themselves :D

spread some Butter Cream onto the cake board, sprinkle some

Dark Brown Sugar and uve got ureself a nice sea bed!
