Ive always wanted a go at designin an Ocean theme Cake.
This time round, i had a client wanting just that! She specifically
requested for Hammerhead Sharks as the theme for this
Ocean inspired Cake for her team coach.
It was my first go at creatin a marbled effect look with
Fondant too! i mixed up three colours of Fondant -
Sky blue, Turquoise Blue and White.
i just mixed and mashed the colours up before rollin it flat onto my
Fondant mat. dun over mix em though, else they're just gonna
end up mergin into one colour :) im really likin this effect
and im gonna be doin it more often for other designs.
The Hammerhead Sharks were individually hand crafted
using Gum Paste. i had initially thought of mouldin other species
of Marine fishes into the Cake design, but i guessed havin a school
of Hammerhead Sharks would look great by themselves :D
spread some Butter Cream onto the cake board, sprinkle some
Dark Brown Sugar and uve got ureself a nice sea bed!
